1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 6 Cyl. 3.8L, 4T65E Transmission
This vehicle is in great shape, with the exception of a couple dings on the front driver fender. Mechanically, it has been very well maintained and runs like it did the day it came off the assembly line. My wife really wants to keep the car (it is hers), but we really need a 4x4 vehicle for these harsh Michigan winters. :) The Grand Prix has a 3800 Series 2 Engine with a 4T65E Transmission. The 3800 and 4T65E are one of GM's most popular engineering endeavors, and are one of the longest lasting domestic engines and transmissions available today. Both of our cars are 3800's which we purposely bought for this reason. I am the manager of a local Transmission Parts warehouse here in Grand Rapids, and I've seen it all. If you are looking for a reliable car for a great price - this is the car you are looking for!

I dont know why there is such a big difference in value between Kelley Blue Book and NADA. I do realize the economy isn't what it used to be. In an effort to be fair, I will go by Kelley Blue Book.
